At Building Haiti (operated by HATT Odyssey, Inc.), we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how returns and refunds are handled for books and related products sold through our website.
1. Books Purchased Through Third-Party Retailers
If you purchased one of our books (Building Haiti, Haiti In Action, Haiti Must Rise, or What Happened in 1804 in Haiti) through Amazon, Lulu, Barnes & Noble, or Audible, please note that all returns and refunds are governed by that retailer’s policy.

We are unable to process refunds directly for purchases made on third-party platforms.
2. Books Purchased Directly from Our Website
If you purchased a book or digital product directly through the Building Haiti website:

Physical Books:

May be returned within 14 days of delivery if the item is unused, in its original condition, and in original packaging.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product arrived damaged or defective.

Digital Products (eBooks, PDFs, Audiobooks):

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final and non-refundable once the full book has been made available to you electronically.

3. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged, misprinted, or defective product:

Please email us at support@hattodyssey.com within 7 days of delivery.

Include your order number, website link where you bought the book, your name, e-mail address, and phone number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable.

We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost.
4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
5. Partners and Friends of Building Haiti
Due to the nature of non-physical product and non-services purchase, all sales are final and non-refundable once payment received, we use funds are we say we would use it for... to help improve Haiti and it's people.
